for wide range of parameter monitoring, adjustments and protections
BYPASS, INSIDE DELTA & INLINE MODE
The Soft Starter can be connected in both inline as well as inside delta configuration. When connected to the inside delta configuration, you can use it to control higher rating motor.
The bypass function is used to save more energy and switch the motor to contactor / relay. The soft starter continues to monitor the motor current and provides all motor protections like unbalance, ground fault, over current, overload protection even in bypass mode.
OPTIMUM CONTROL & PROTECTION
The high-end digital signal controller offers excellent control. The use of 3-phase control, monitoring the 3-phase current offers range of protections against overload conditions to ground fault conditions.
It comes with range of Configurable I/O, serial communication for remote monitoring, three starting modes, four stopping modes, integrated overload protection, kick start for heavy load conditions.
Built to comply with the global standards like UL 508, IEC 60947-4-2 and CE.
All the printed boards are conformal coated for protection against harsh environments.
EASY MONITORING
The Graphical display offers excellent monitoring of the operational parameters. The 9-key keypad is useful for easy navigation and parameter setting.
All the metering parameters like 3-phase voltage, 3-phase current, Line frequency, Active / Reactive power, Energy Meter (kWh and MWh), Number of starts per hour, Heatsink temperature in both degree C & F, Run time and Fault history are available on display.
COMPLETE PACKAGE SOLUTION
Axpert-CSS Alpha
An AC-1 "Run-Rated" Bypass contactor is provided standard. Once the soft starter gets the motor “up-to-speed”, the motor is switched over to the bypass contactor and runs “across-the-line.”
The soft starter still monitors full operation of the motor and provides complete diagnostic protection.
Axpert-CSS Omega
The Omega is the full-featured model that has features like the AC-3 "fully-rated” bypass contactor, external motor overload protection and the change from Soft Starter to "across-the-line (DOL)" operation via selector switch.
